Common questions

Where do I add a wallet?

Open the app, go to Settings → Wallets, paste your public ETH or Solana address. ENS names work too. Free plan supports 3 wallets; Pro supports unlimited.

How does Alfred calculate fair value?

Hierarchy: your manual override (if set) → best item-specific offer → best collection offer (capped) → collection floor. We prefer live bids over floor because floors can be manipulated by single low listings.

I see a "missing cost basis" banner — what does that mean?

Some of your NFTs were acquired in a way Alfred couldn't trace automatically (transfer from another wallet, off-chain purchase, gift). You can classify them manually as gift / paid / swap-receipt, or set a custom cost via Edit Override.

Why isn't a transaction showing in my P&L?

Alfred reads sales from the OpenSea Events API. OTC sales, off-chain trades, and some marketplace integrations may be missing. Pro users get a deeper backfill via Alchemy that catches more of these.

Can I upgrade to Pro inside the iOS app?

No. Pro subscriptions are managed on meetalfred.io via web browser. Once subscribed, your Pro status flows automatically into the iOS app.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete Account in the web app or iOS app. We wipe your personal data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

Is Alfred safe with my wallet?

We only ever read public on-chain data via public APIs. We never have your private keys, seed phrases, or any signing capability. You can use any wallet — MetaMask, Phantom, Ledger, hardware wallets, vaults. Alfred sees the same data anyone can see on Etherscan or OpenSea.

Why is a SOL collection showing weird numbers?

Magic Eden API doesn't expose 24h/7d/30d volume directly like OpenSea does. We compute these as deltas from daily snapshots, so they fill in progressively (24h after day 2, 7d after day 8, etc). All-time total volume is correct from day 1.
